Regularly visiting client’s premises, makes it essential that we follow best practice.
Our employees will continue to go to work, visiting clients and servicing public places.
We will stay away from public places (self-isolate) if advised to by the 111 online coronavirus service or a medical professional.
Our technicians will however follow good practice procedures:
Wash our hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
Always wash our hands when we get home or into work
Wash our hands before and after visiting a client’s site
Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
Cover our mouths and noses with a tissue or our sleeves (not your hands) when we cough or sneeze
Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash our hands afterwards
Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
We will not touch our eyes, nose or mouth if our hands are not clean
Pay particular attention to situations where we are undertaking actions where items may have passed through many hands, eg cash handling.
